Paris Hotel Before Flight

We have a noon flight and would like to stay in Paris the night before. Knowing we will have three large luggage pieces and using public transit to get to the airport does anyone know of a nice hotel steps away from the RER or CDG bus?

The Air France bus has a pickup point at Gare de Lyon (google it for where, when & fare) and there is a Mercure hotel as well as a Novotel at Gare de Lyon, and I am sure lots of others close by.

Pam, if there are only two of you, and three large pieces of luggage,, and I assume perhaps a purse and/or a carry on,, I would not take the Metro/RER,, you will be travelling during morning rush( you will want to be at airport at 9AM, so, leaving Paris around 8:30 am,,,busy time)
Stairs and crowds make it unpleasant.

I would look for a hotel near the Air France bus,, and since I never travel with that much luggage, I have never taken the bus, so am no help there. I am sure someone will have an idea though.

If not, go on tripadvisor Paris Forums and ask. Its a busy forum and someone will know.

Good luck( and consider packing lighter!)

Barry, that is a very unhelpful suggestion, if I may say so.

Is barry the new Perry?

We could just add "mister bed city bagnolet" to "Tom's Guide to Paris" on a one-size-fits-all catch all list on some sort of a button to the side of the Helpline.

Barry appears to be "hawking" a business. Is there any way to stop that on this board?

Personally with three large pieces I would go with a shuttle service!

Barry has posted 343 times and I estimate at least 300 of them are limited to "mr bed city". He is a man of few words and fewer ideas.
