I am looking for a basic and safe hotel in Paris. I hope to go to Paris in Aug. and would like a central hotel. I am on my own so only need a single room. I am also willing to have a room without a bathroom. I am hoping for something around 50 euros.

Have you considered staying at a hostel? 50 euros is low for a single room in Paris, even with shared bathroom.
