Hello travelers! My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon! Unfortunately we will only have 8 or 9 nights, but we'd like to visit Paris and Venice. We're considering two possibilities to connect the two cities: night train from Paris to Venice or train during the day and stop in Chamonix en route. We are very happy and efficient travelers and only take backpacks. We also don't plan to fly from Paris to Venice (even though it would be inexpensive and faster). With the little amount of time we have, is it worth it to spend a day on a train getting to Chamonix/Mt Blanc, a day in the Alps, and then a day traveling to Venice? Alternatively, if we do the night train option we'll likely squeeze Rome in at the end of our trip and fly out of FCO because we truly loved the city :) Thanks! Adam
