We're likely to be in Paris from the 4th to 6th of October this year and really wanted to spend a morning/afternoon browsing a flea market (clothes, knock knacks, organic food, anything). One that would give us a glimpse of Parisian life. Since the days we will be there will be weekdays (Tue, Wed and Thurs), and most suggestions I've read are for weekend markets, any suggestions people could offer?
Flea markets and markets with produce are generally separate creatures. But there is some bleedover (knick knacks and seconhand goods at produce markets). The Paris tourism website has a good page to start exploring:

Hi Arubdhati, The flea markets in Paris, both Porte de vanes and Porte de clingencourt , are only open on the weekend. The food markets are open during the week. Sorry.
