Paris Bike Tours

Hi everyone, i'm thinking of doing the bike tours of Paris and wanted to get some feedback before i reserve anything. There are two tours a daytime which is like 4 hours long and is more info based and then there is a night time ride that seems more fun, less info based...also included wine. I'm as a solo traveler and will be in Paris Wed-Sat and was wondering: 1. are these tours a good way to see Paris? 2. Does one day over another make any difference?
3. Is there one tour company that is better than the others? Thanks for any advice and feedback. Everyone is very helpful on this site and it is much appreciate. michael

Hi Michael,, I have done the Fat Tires Night bike tour( actually, over last 5 years I have now done all their bike tours) and it was great. I travel solo mostly, so its a great way to enjoy being with a small group of people for limited time, especially night tour, took all evening and it was fun and socail. All the bike tours are easy for anyone of any reasonable fitness level, and I am well into middle age.. The night bike tour included a river cruise and a bit of wine, as well as a stop for ice cream, The city day and night tours do not require any advance purchase or reservation so don't bother, choose nice weather ,. The day long trips do require reservations but you can often make them the day before so check weather,

Hi Michael, greetings from Marblehead, MA. Just came back from a 10 day trip to Paris with my family. We didn't do a formal bike tour while there but did rent bikes one day from one of the many bike rental locations all around Paris. We were very glad we did this. We rode wherever we went and found some great neighborhoods, cafes and other spots we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. We even rode all along the Seine and returned the bikes later in the evening when we were done. It was a great way to see the city. Have a great trip.
