Is it a good idea to try to vist Notre Dame, The Louve and Sainte-Chapelle in the same day?

It could definitely be done. Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle are just a hop and a skip away from each other[INVALID] you could do both in the morning. Then in the afternoon you could do the Louvre.

That's exactly what we did on Day 2 of our visit in August. We got to the Louvre shortly after it opened at 9am? and were out by 12:30PM. Then a walk through Tuileries, a ride on the ferris wheel and lunch at La Petit Vendome (15 minute walk). Back to the metro to the island and took in both St. Chappelle and Notre Dame. It was pretty easy.

Agreed very do-able. There are going to be lines at the Louvre- although hopefully others will comment and tell you how to get tickets in advance and avoid the lines. Assuming you could avoid the lines I would do Notre Dame then St Chapelle- if you can tear yourself awayfrom St Chappelle (awe inspiring), then you can linger in the Loubre as long as you like

All on the same day is okay, but all in a row prior to doing anything else might mean some lines. What I'd do is be in line at Sainte Chapelle when it opens since it seems to have the worst lines, then go over to Notre Dame, but popping into the archaeological crypt on the way. You then might try the Louvre through the mall entrance or else come back to it a couple of hours before closing when there are virtually no lines anywhere.

When you mention Notre Dame are you thinking of the church part, or climbing the Towers. The Towers is a must do first thing in am,, get in line before it opens. The line for the Towers moves VERY slowly as they only let 20 people up at one time. The line for the church can look long, but moves along steadily so not so bad. So, I would do ND Towers, then church, then I would get a crepe from corner restaurant from St Chapelle, they have a take away counter, I would eat that while in line for St Chapelle, then wait for St Chapelle line, then after stop for a drink somewhere, then finish rest of day at Louvre..

I don't remember which days you'll be in Paris, but the Louvre is open until 10pm on Wed and Fri; closed on Tues. Check the Louvre website for which entrances are open late.
