I am using Parisbestlodge this year for first time, they are very easy to deal with, no large deposit cheque needed, I simply had to send a post dated cheque in my own funds'! Depending on your budget, do expect apartment will not be large,, nothing is large in Paris( hotels or apartments) unless you have the big bucks, lol

Take a look at 356456 on homeaway.com. We have reservations for it in June. It is 60m2, which is large for an apartment in Paris. Be sure to read the reviews for this owner. They are excellent. Of the many apartment finding in Paris options available, I found homeaway. com the best for Paris this time around. If not this place, you might find another even better for your needs.

Last September I stayed 2 weeks in one apt of: http://your-vacation-rental-by-owner-in-paris.com and loved it and I STRONGLY recommend it. Pascal, the owner, has different apt of different sizes. He is very sincere and honest and what you see on his website, is REALLY what you get. Reservation is very easy, he is just asking for a security deposit cheque in your money but will not cash it unless you cancel at the last minute and he can not rent the apt you have reserved. He will not play game with you. If he can rent the apt. he will not cash your cheque. My apt. was very clean, in Le Marais and Pascal is very helpfull and very available if you need something. I am going back this coming September for one month and I am renting from him again. Take a look at his website. Pascal was recommended to me by Thierry from Parisbestlodge http://www.parisbestlodge.com/ Thierry was not able to accommodate me for my dates, so since he has a small network of partners, he referred my reservation to few of his partners and since Pascal had an apt I liked, I have decided to reserve with him. Parisbestlodge has GREAT review on Trip Advisor, and that is why I contacted him. Thierry replied to my email within 24 hours. I will not hesitate to deal with Thierry or one of his partners should Pascal could not accommodate me with my dates. Thierry seems very serious about choosing his partners. The way I understand it, if the partners can not offer the same high service level as his does, I don't think that they will be part of his network. Take a look at Trip Advisor for Parisbestlodge for reviews. I really recommend both companies. But, book early as they are in big demand. Have a great trip.
