How can I get a list of websites? I've seen lots of suggestions here, but when I type this into the Search in upper left corner, I just get a few. Anybody have a website, send it in!

VRBO (Payment varies by owner), Vacation In Paris (US based, pay in $$ via PayPal), & Rental France (PayPal Euros downpayment, final payment in Euros on arrival). I found these to be the best for us to use.
We've also had good luck with homelidays.com, which acts as a clearinghouse, so you are in contact directly with owners. They also encourage posting of comments, so you'll get a good idea if what's being described is what you'll get.
Used these folks to book a wonderful (as in I'll go back to again and again to stay there) apartment in Rome. (www.Romeby.com). Very pleased with them. This link has been recommended by friends:http://www.feelslikehomeinparis.com/
Enjoy and don't miss the Rodin Museum.
The Rick-recommended Paris Perfect (www.parisperfect.com). We stayed in one of their apartments last September. Unbelievable hospitality and attention to every need.
Our favorite is www.holidays-france-rentals.com. We have used them 4/5 times personally. We have friends in Paris as we speak, another group will go in June and we will be back in Oct.

Hi Betsy, Our friend Victoria in Paris rents well-located studios at reasonable rates. Check out her website. We have rented the Studio Notre Dame and enjoyed the apartment and especially the location (5th arr.). http://www.victoria-parishomes.com/index.html
Betsy, A friend and I used Isabelle's Apartments (www.apartment-in-france.com) last September and found them very helpful. They'll arrange airport pickup/dropoff, cell phones, etc. and are very responsive to maintenance/other needs. They are a smaller company and offer more personal/prompt service than the larger ones we tried to contact online. But beware, their idea of a "quiet" apartment is very different from mine! Yes, our apartment building itself was quiet, but the streets outside (we were on a corner in the Marais) were only quiet between 4 and 6 (AM!). Bars closed at 4, street cleaning machines started work at 6. So check that out closely. But I'd use them again, definitely!
