I am looking for an apartment with two bedrooms for a family of four with air for our trip this June/July in Paris. Homeaway shows one on the Bd. Edgar Quinet near the Edgar Quinet metro stop. How do we get there from CDG and is this a safe location, and are the local metro lines good for the usual tourist spots? Here is the link

We stayed in a hotel very close to the apartment. It's a very safe area, residential, lots of places to eat. There are Metro stops at Edgar Quinet and Vavin which will get you close to attractions. You can take the RER B from the Denfert-Rochereau station to/from CDG. Or Air France bus stops at the Montparnasse station. We went to a market on Edgar Quinet, and I think it's the one in the listing. I liked the area quite a bit, and would not hesitate to stay there again. I would hesitate at the "4th floor walk-up" since that means 5 flights of stairs, but you decide.
