Does anyone have a favorite apartment in Paris? We are looking for something in the arr. 5 or 6...could go to the 7th. We would like one bedroom or large studio, bed with a firm mattress, and require a management office or owner in the City.

A few years ago, we had a week-long stay in one of their 1 BR apts. in the 7th arr. Ours was the Pomerol. We had such a wonderful time in this lovely apartment in the charming Rue Cler area! From the bedroom and dining area we had a view of the Eiffel Tower. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

I like the 5th and 6th better than the 7th as they are more central. I can recommend an apartment in the 5th, but the owner lives in the U.S. She has someone in Paris who meets you at the apartment and can help with any issues. If that works for you, let me know and I will provide the information.

I would recommend Vacation in Paris(vacationinparis.com). They are US based, but they have someone there that can help if problems arise.

We used Cobblestone Paris and stayed at this lovely apartment on Ile St. Louis.
