Just returned from 4 weeks in Europe. One thing I want to pass along. An often asked question is how to find apartments in Paris. On a previous trip, we did a lot of research and even met the couple who owned the apartment chosen. It was a major disappointment. Prior to this trip, someone mentioned the place we stayed this time. I was worried that a scammer had place the note. However, all was legal. The apartment was lovely. Website is canal-apartment-paris.com. It is near the canal and Gare de l'est. I know, it is away from the preferred areas, but only minutes via Metro. This is a one bedroom. The owners also have a studio which I have not seen.
