Paris airport hotel recommendation

I'll be getting into Orly at about 8pm and flying out of CGD at 11am the next day. Any suggestions about easiest transportation between the airports? (don't want to deal with stairs in the Metro) And any hotel recommendations? I'd like to pay $100/night or less, but would pay more to make life simpler. Thanks!

Air France runs a shuttle between the 2 airports. Ibis hotels at CDG will cost more than $100 but if you book far enough ahead there are deals to be had.

CDG has both an Etap and a Forumule1. I'd be surprised if they punch a hundred bucks, but they're the cheapest on the airport.

Last year we stayed at the Ibis at Terminal 3. By prepaying with no cancellation possible, we got a rate of 59 euros (on their website). There was no risk involved for us, since we had our tickets to fly out the next morning. Super convenient. You walk a few steps out the door, and you are at the stop for the interterminal people mover.

Sherry,

In the same circumstances, I'd probably stay right at CDG. Have a look at degaulle.airporthotelguide.com/ for information. The Holiday Inn Express might be a good choice? If you have a generous travel budget, you could also stay at the Sheraton which is right in Terminal 2. You could sleep in a bit, have a leisurely breakfast and then walk to the check-in area (depending on which Terminal your flight is departing from).

Happy travels!

Last fall we stayed at the ETAP hotel at the outskirts of CDG and I think it was about 45 Euros. There is a free shuttle bus outside the hotel that takes you to the airport. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the airport and ran every 20-30 minutes. Rooms were simple and clean. Worked great for us.

The Air France bus #3 to which Norma referred runs directly between Orly and CDG every 30 minutes. The driver will put your luggage in the bay. The fare is €19.

The Ibis, Etap, and Formule 1 hotels are all part of the Accor chain. Go to www.accorhotels.com and enter Roissy as your destination. The Ibis Charles de Gaulle Aeroport/Terminal hotel that is next door to Terminal 3 will be listed at the bottom of the first page. As Rosalyn said, the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train that connects all the terminals has a stop that is close by the hotel.

On page 2 you'll find Etap Hotel Roissy CDG Paris Nord 2 and HotelF1 Roissy Aeroport CDG PN 2 (referred to by Ed). As Tesa said, there is free shuttle bus service. Note: The bathrooms are ensuite at Etap hotels, but they are down the hall at Formule 1 hotels.

I stayed at Pullman Hotel and I think it was quite nice. The price was around 100 euro. Like other hotel nearby the airport the have free shuttle to and from the hotel to the airport.
