We are staying in Paris for 3 nights in July. Our travel agent has booked us into The New Roblin Hotel, does anyone know anything about it?
If your travel agent has already booked you, might it be a little late to be asking this question?
Sorry. You can get many more reviews of hotels at www.tripadvisor.com. They report numerous good reviews of the New Roblin and room rates of about 250 Euro.
For that price I would expect it to be listed in the Michelin red guide, but it's not listed in the 2007 edition, not under that name anyway (the name, being in English, seems odd for a Paris hotel). I know nothing about the property, but for that kind of money, €250/$400 per night, you would expect it to be in the book.
Julie, when you return from your holiday, post back and tell us about the hotel.
its a 4 star hotel, if thats what you want, and it looks great. but i dont think you want to be splurging on a hotel. go to www.booking .com or www.laterooms.com to get much better rates than offered by your travel agent.
Julie.......You're OK. This hotel is in a good area and near to lots of places that you will want to visit as well as near to the metro. We haven't stayed there but we've been in the area. The price, in July, should be 200 euros per night or less. If they've quoted you higher you should see if you can rebook on your own.
