Paris... 3 nights with 5 girls. Hostel, Hotel, or B&B?

I am having a difficult time finding a place in Paris that's reasonable ( we're college kids after all!) I've been looking at Hostels, Hotels, and B&B's and they all seem to be running around the same price. Does anyone have a great place to stay in Paris while on a budget that's not too far outside of city center?

Thank you!

Have you looked into the MIJE hostel or any of the ones affiliated with Hostelling International? With 5 of you, you can pretty much have your own dorm room in a 6-share if you book ahead. Look at reviews on Hostelworld.com or BUG.

How about looking into university housing if you are going during the summer months? Many colleges and universities in Europe are now renting beds to tourists in their dormitories.

You may also want to check into renting an apartment (though you'll have to come up with money for a deposit) for a few nights.

Finally, if you want to get adjoining rooms at a budget hotel, try the Ibis or Accor chain. They sometimes offer good rates and have locations all over the city.

Another option would be the ultracheap, wonderfully located Hotel Tiquetonne:

I don't know if they have any triple rooms, but they have doubles with a private bath for 50 EUR per night and singles with a shared bath for 30 EUR per night. The major disadvantage of the Tiquetonne is that it is so old, quaint and charming that it hasn't yet entered the world of online booking, but calling them directly was actually very easy.My husband and I loved this 1* hotel and thought it has to be one of the best deals in Paris.

I'm going to Paris and got an apartment for 890 euros for 10 days. That's the best bet for girls on a budget, and also you save money by eating some meals at the apartment.
