Has anyone been to Parc de la Villette? I am interested in the Geode and Planetarium and some hands on exhibits. Is there signage in English? I saw the website and it gives Metro instructions. Any opinions on this activity? Is it really large, lots of walking? I google mapped it so have some idea.

I've been there, but it was sometime ago, maybe 10 years. We went by metro, easy. The other way, if you have time, is a sort of "twofer": to travel up the St. Martin Canal, which ends by the Parc then visit the planetarium. The movie we saw in the geode was real good. It does have hands-on activities. We found it interesting, but I really don't remember a lot about it.
