Paragliding in Interlaken?

There is also paragliding off the Shilthorn above Muerren further into the Lauterbrunnen Valley. From Interlaken, you will need to take the train into Lauterbrunnen (25 minutes) and take a bus to the Stechelberg gondola station to catch the gondola up. This area of the alps is just stunning.

The easiest way to do this on short notice is to head over to the tourist office, and let them arrange it for you. The main office is located next to the Metropole Hotel. You can't miss it, it's the only high rise building in the town. It's also across the street from the park where the gliders land. If you happen to be in Interlaken in the evenings, when the the landings take place you can also make arrangements directly with the operators at the park.
