I'm confused about the pricing for Spanish paradores. On the official website there is a very reasonable option of "fixed price." Other than "room only" I can't seem to find any restrictions attached to this price. What am I missing?

The "fixed price" is simply the best available one-night price for that date. (You may get a better deal if you book for more than one night.) "Room only" means no meals are included.
