Is one of these palaces more interesting than the others ---- The Residenz (Munich), Schloss Sanssouci (Potsdam), Charlottenburg Palace(Berlin)? We have traveled quite a lot & have seen major palaces in Spain, France, Italy, England. Our main interest is architecture. Thank you for your advice.

The Residenz is almost completely rebuilt from wartime bombing. Much of the detailing on the outside walls is painted. I did not tour the inside, so I couldn't comment on it. But as far as architecture, the Residenz didn't strike me as amongst Europe's most intriguing.
