Hi! I just bought my Eurail Select Pass. I am traveling from Zurich to Munich (meeting a friend-different airlines). I was hoping that we could get reservations together but was not sure. Also-how do you exactly reserve trains?!

Reservations are recommended but not required on the direct EC trains between Zurich and Munich. Reservations aren't even possible on slower regional trains. After you and friend meet up, go to the station window and have your passes validated. If you want to be guaranteed to have seats together, buy reservations on the spot.
