Orly to Saint-Placide

I just booked a last minute trip to Paris for a long weekend later this week. I'm flying into Orly and I need to get to the Saint-Placide stop in Paris (6th arrondissement). The Orly web site is awful so I just want to verify that I am reading things correctly. It looks like I have two options for getting into Paris: take the OrlyBus or the OrlyVal train. I have no idea what the difference is (besides price) in terms of time or convenience. If anyone can recommend one way or the other that would be great. It looks like I need to take one of those means to Denfert Rochereau, where I can then take Metro 4 going in the Porte de Cligancourt direction to Saint-Placide. If I am not mistaken, if I take OrlyBus it will be a little over 7 Euro and then another 1 Euro for the metro. If I take the OrlyVal then I understand it is 11-something Euro ( or the site lists a special reduced fare but doesn't say what for) but it's not clear to me if I will subsequently have to buy a metro fare to Saint-Placide, or if whatever ticket I have for the OrlyVal also covers that. I may ultimately have a few more questions but the most important thing right now is getting my ducks in a row for getting from and to the airport efficiently and with the right fare/tickets! Thanks!
