Suggestions please for what to see/do on a day trip from Paris to Orleans.

Yes, Rick doesn't cover Orleans. Briefly:1. There is Maison de Jeanne d'Arc, where Joan enjoyed the hospitality of a resident in his fine half timbered house that is now the museum.2. The Cathedrale Ste-Croix, focusing on the woodwork of the choir stalls which include splendidly carved medallions and panels on the high backs. 3. There is a surprisingly good art museum, the Musee des Beaux-Arts, including French painters Courbet, Gauguin, Boudin, and Soutine.
