I will be staying in Avignon for a few days in June and am planning a day trip to Orange. Any suggestions for a good place for lunch which is reasonably priced? I would also love suggestions for lunch & dinner in Avignon. Merci!

Susan, in Avignon, we stayed at Hotel Le Colbert which is two blocks from the train station (we had a rental car). Very nice owners and a nice/clean hotel. For dinner, we walked about 3 blocks from the hotel to the Piedoie Restaurant (recommended by Le Colbert). Their address is 26, Rue des Trois Faucons, 84000 Avignon, France. We had a great French dinner. The restaurant was small and quiet with great food. The wine was superb. Pricing is moderate but my wife and I really enjoy a few nice restaurants when we travel. This was definitely a nice food find.
