We are working with a private tour guide to select some sites to visit on our trip to Provence. A few of the sites she recommended are not familiar to me so I wanted to get input if anyone has visited as to if they are worth the time. The sites are: a walking tour in Lacoste a walking tour in Oppede le Vieux Van Gogh azylum

Just outside of San Remy is St. Paul de Mausolee, the hospital where Van Gogh stayed for 53 weeks and completed 143 paintings. The gardens and pathways are beautiful. Every several feet a reproduction of one of his paintings is hung....where the original was painted. Our visit there in June
was a highpoint of our trip to Provence. This is a don't miss spot!
