Hi We have 8 days ( next week) to relax and also see something of Portugal. We have never been there before and are hoping to find some less crowded beaches and smaller towns where we can enjoy the food and chill. The Alentejo area sounds wonderful but I am confused as to where we should base ourselves or whether to spend 2 to 3 days in one place and then move down to the beaches. We don't want to spend the whole time driving. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you
