I just rented through Vacaction in Paris (www.vacationinparis.com) based on recommendations on this and other travel sights. The booking process couldn't be easier.

I rented from www.ParisPerfect.com last September and had a great experience. The majority of their apartments are in the 7th arrondisement.

We stayed in this studio in October 2007 and LOVED it! The man who handles the rental is in North Carolina and the owner is an American writer who lives in Paris.

we've used www.cross-pollinate.com on numerous occasions. The apartment in Paris we used was fantastic.
