One of the best italian restaurants in Munich!

Hi! I wanted to suggest a great italian restaurant in the city of Munich to you!
If you are looking for something with italian atmosphere and want to have the feeling you ate in italy! Go there!
I´ll post something I wrote somewhere else:

The Cannone Bar-Restaurant is one of the best italian restaurants in Munich. In the worldwide known Marcellino-Gastronomy-Guide it is listed under the Top Ten restaurants in Munich since three years.
The Italians and the Germans say that Munich is the northernmost city of Italy. You will know why, when you visited the Cannone Bar-Restaurant. It offers you more then 200 original italian vines. Business lunch start at 6,50. Euro. Besides the bill of fare, the restaurant offers weekly changing cards and menus. Many of the food is housemade and you will taste and feel the flavour of italy while eating! The price category for Dinner goes from 7 Euro up to 20 Euro. The Menus cost around 30 Euro. A wooden oven pizza and the charming team will make your visit in the Cannone Bar-Restaurant in Munich unforgettable.
The location of the restaurant is in the worldwide known district Alt-Schwabing, which with it´s long history is to be known as one of the biggest Artists-Districts in Germany.
The Cannone Bar-Restaurant has a terrace with over 50 seats and offers also private functions for up to 70 people with individual Menu-combinations.

Yes I did, but I did it for free, after I was an client in this restaurant for over three years. By the way I did not design the site, I only have written some texts. And I think its about time that the world needs to know about a good italian restaurant when they come to visit our city. Thats all. So if you like what you read visit it, if not, leave it :)

Thanks for the recommendation on the restaurant. I will definitely stop there on my next visit to Munich.

Another restaurant that I really enjoyed in Munich was Opatija. It's located in one of the side streets off Marienplatz. I thought it was quite an unusual experience to be having Italian food in a Croatian restaurant in a German city.

Dear Ken,
yes I know the pizza from Riva (it is just two streets away ;) ). The Riva Pizza is very good, but it always depends on the Pizza-baker ;) - But I can say for sure, that the pizza in Cannone Bar is as least as good as in Riva Bar, but if I am true, it is even better. I was in italy since I was six years old, I never found a pizza in Germany which tasted like in italy (the good ones), the Cannone-Pizza does. So you won´t make anything wrong if you´ll try it ;)

Thank you for recommending your friend's fine restaurant in Munich.

Another great choice is La Vecchia near the Best Western Crystal Hotel and some historic theater. Rustic farmhouse atmosphere (by design), excellent food, and a warm dark atmosphere. Mixture of romantic couples and loud fun groups. Food was excellent. Wood fired oven.

I was refered to this gem last year and will be going back in late February.
