One night in Nice with two children?

We're looking for an affordable room (under €1,50 Euros) to stay one night near the Nice airport. Our flight lands in the evening, and we need a place to sleep before we drive into Italy the next day. We will have a car, so we can drive a bit out of town if need be.

We have two children - ages 6 and 8 - and I'm struggling to find a hotel room that will accommodate four of us. I'm also not having much luck on Airbnb, VRBO, because everything seems to have a minimum stay of 3-4 days.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

you surely don't mean that you want to stay for one and a half Euro for the night - that's what you posted in your question - do you?

We stayed at Hotel Darse in Villefranche-sur-mer which is a short drive from the airport closer to the Italian border. Enjoyed our stay with beautiful sea views. I see they have rooms for up to 4 people and in your price range. (I assume you meant under 150 Euros).

Thank you - both for the hotel suggestion and for correcting my typo. :)

I"ve stayed here:

Be careful because there are two Novotels close to the airport. This one is the better of the two in my opinion and has parking lot underneath.

Many of the rooms are set up for families and are large and have some English tv available. There is also a microwave oven. I think I paid 99 euro for my one night there, twice. They have a pool and a place to have breakfast. It's not in a very good area for restaurants but there are a few around. there is a very nice pool area too.

Thank you, Shirley!
Pat's suggestion is already full, but the helpful hostess there recommended a few other options. I'll look into this one, too. Appreciate all the help!
