Any suggestions as to a nice place to stay in Honfleur?

Cheval Blanc, right by the tidal gate on the old harbor. There's an ETAP on the south side of the harbor about a half mile - - no ambiance, but cheap and clean.

Hotel Absinthe is a very nice small hotel that I stayed at while in Honfleur a few years ago.

Hotel de Dauphin was nice in 2003 when we stayed there, and I think it's still in Rick's book.

We stayed at the Hotel du Daphne last year - it was just fine. I cannot even begin to tell you how friendly and helpful the staff there was. My husband had to be hospitalized and they helped me with everything, e.g. getting to and from the hospital, changing reservations and extending my stay there until he was released from the hospital. The husband of one of the staff even drove us to the train station since my husband was not able to drive, and he returned the rental car for us! They were wonderful!
