Any suggestions for where to stay and what to do with two boys 6 and 8 with only a day in Zurich? We will arrive by train from Florence , spend the night and leave by plane for the US the next morning.

Depending on the weather, how about an excursion up to the Üetliberg ? There is a Solar System walk and an observation tower. If you send me a PM, I can send you some pictures.

Up the Rigi railway, down the cable car, and the lake steamer to Lucerne. The best of all worlds.
