Having just returned from Paris, I thought I might offer up some info to those who have only one day to visit Normandy battlefields. We visited the Caen Memorial and did the tour and it was excellent. We were greeted by our English speaking guide at the Caen train station, assembled in a small group of 8, and taken to the Caen Memorial. We were given a guided tour of the museum, a great lunch and then tours of Omaha beach, the American Cemetary, and several other landing sights. The entire visit started at 8:15 and ended at about 7:15pm. Anyone wishing further info can contact me direct.
