One afternoon/evening in Zurich - ideas for sights and a local dinner?

Hello! Family of five coming from Chur to spend last night of vacation in Zurich before flying home to Chicago. What time should we plan to get to Zurich and what suggestions to see in a very short window? Also - what is a good, local place to eat where we can have a real "live like a local" dinner? We are staying at the Zurich Marriott (reward points), Neumuehlequai 42. Thank you!
