Will be in Hassfurt, Germany visiting Hubby's home town Sept, 2011. Upon departure from Hassfurt to Frankfurt, looking for good Germany restaurant for lunch before arrival at Frankfurt Airport, some little town aprox hour or two from airport. Thanks in advance, Andrea

It looks like you'll be going through or passing by a number of small towns on your way to Frankfurt. Why don't you calculate the mileage and the time you'll think you'll need to get there and then just get off the highway and find a Gasthaus or restaurant about halfway or two-thirds of the way there. It still surprises me but we found a nice place to eat every single time we just decided that we're hungry and let's take the next exit or stop in the next town or village. Even if it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, something would turn up - and this on more than one trip to Germany and in different parts of the country.
