Older Adult Berlin Night Life

My wife and I will be spending 5 days in Berlin. We are older adults and looking for suggestions of clubs or caberets that may appeal to us. I came accross Clarchens Ballhaus on TA that I may investigate. Does anyone have any other suggestions? They would be appreciated. Thanks.

The largest show stage in Europe and the last of those 1920s type music and dance shows is at the Friedrichstadtpalast. This actually is even hardly topped by anything Las Vegas has to offer because it's more authentic or genuine if you see what I mean. While the show is from pre-war times the building and stage was done by the communist regime in the early 1980s to show to the world how well they were doing (ha ha). Before or after your show cross the Friedrichstraße and take a few steps along the river to the "Ständige Vertretung" bar and restaurant. Once you're there you'll see why I would specifically recommend it to your age group - even though you'll probably find most people to be in there be in their 30s and 40s...

"The largest show stage in Europe and the last of those 1920s type music and dance shows is at the Friedrichstadtpalast." Ah, so that's what that place was? With all that pink and purple outdoor lighting, I thought it looked like the world's largest strip club. Berlin is also one of the classical music capitals of Europe. The Berlin Philharmonic is to professional orchestras as the NY Yankees are to professional baseball.
