Hello all! My brother, buddy and I are going to Oktoberfest this year and I am having trouble finding a hostel to stay in close to the festival. I went to Hostelworld.com and it basically told me that all of the hostels are sold out during Oktoberfest. Is this normal? I knew it would sell out eventually but I thought I would be able to find and reserve our 3 beds with 8 months to go before the festival. Any ideas or possible hostels I can sneak in and put my reservation? We range in age from 21-26 and would prefer to be in a hostel with no curfew. Thanks, for any help! Frank-

Try "The Tent". I'm a little too old to hack it (you're sharing a huge circus tent with hundreds of people!) but the atmosphere is fun. ANd they don't even have their reservation forms available for 2013 yet so I bet you'd still be able to get a reservation. Try calling them.
