Octoberfest in Germany 2012

Looking for reasonable hotels, near the Theresienweise off busy streets

Hotel Hahn is reasonable, it's near the Theresienweise, but it is on a busy street. But I have no idea if they have rooms left for Oktoberfest. They fill up really fast. I'd look for anything decently rated on TripAdvisor that's nearby and most importantly...available. You're out of time to be picky right now, unfortunately.

I went to Oktoberfest 2011 and stayed at Hotel Blauer Bock, Sebastiansplatz 9, München, for four days. It is central to all the sights, about 5 blocks from the Marienplatz and a block from Viktualienmarkt. The subway stop is an easy trip to Oktoberfest. I paid a 100 Euros a night for a single, but I booked about now. They have a great breakfast and friendly staff. Hotels fill up very quick, so make your reservations quick. It was a great place to stay and I loved Oktoberfest.

Thanks so much for your comments. I did find a hotel called Motel One near the German Museum. The last time we were in Munich we stayed at the Hotel Carlton, now all booked.
