I am leading a group of 30 of which only 6 or 8 want Passion Play tickets for a specific date and without overpriced overnight accomodations in the immediate area. Anyone know how to get play tickets (medium price range) for those who would like them.

I think that package tickets have been on sale now for over a year, non-package tickets for over 6 month. You might be too late, but information about tickets can be found the Oberammergau website, www.oberammergau.de. It has a side in English.

Apparently only Saturday performances are available from the official website without accomodations and we are looking for Sunday or Tuesday. I already requested tickets for "daytrippers" by fax but did not receive a reply (they may be limiting it to German residents)
