Has anyone heard the date for Nuit Blanche in Paris for 2008? It appears from past years that it is held the first Saturday night of October which is by coincidence when my wife and I will be on our first trip to Paris. If anyone has been to Nuit Blanche can you give me any suggestions on what to see and do during this event.

Typically, Nuit Blanche is the first weekend in October. There are usually any number of events happening all throughout Paris. The metro stays open all night with a modified schedule. Art is the main focus with museums having special events throughout the evening rather than closing at 18h. It varies year to year but there are often lots of music, live performances, people walking everywhere, a general fabulous night to be in Paris.
