Is "All Saints Day" a big deal in Paris?....anyone know what's open/closed from previous experience. We were there last year for 10 days and will be back this fall for 6 more - we will be visiting sites, etc. we missed previously.

Thanks Claudia! We scheduled Père-Lachaise cemetery for our last day in Paris last year - it rained so we had to go to "plan B." We will schedule it for Nov 1 this time around!

November 1st is the day people put chrysanthemums on loved-ones' graves in France. Pere Lachaise will have more visitors than usual. You'll get to see a part of French tradition.
