I am travelling from Barcelona to San Sebastian and I am not sure where to go next. I was thinking somewhere in France, but I am not sure where to go. Paris seems a little far to travel. Are there any amazing places in the south west part of France besides Bordeaux?

Oh yeah, I am travelling by train and I would like to continue to travel by train or bus. I want to head north out of Spain. I have been in Spain the last 2 weeks and I want to explore France.

St-Jean-de-Luz is a nice stop for a day, then on to Biarritz and Bayonne.
We took a bus to Biarritz from San Sebastian as we could never figure out the train schedule. I think the train gets much easier once you get into France.

We loved Biarritz.
If you like sleepy beach towns, Capbreton & Hossegor are a little further north. You would have to take a bus as the train goes to Dax.

So, it looks like we are headed to Biarritz. Does anyone know any good inexpensive accommadations?
