We will be traveling to Spain in September. We would like to visit, Madrid, Barcelona and Northern Spain (Oviedo) before going to Lyon France for a conference. Any suggestions on the best way to get from one city to the other? Where to go first? Easiest way to travel between city. Is the airport in Oviedo close to the city? Outskirts? Any help would be great.

The Asturias airport (Oviedo) in up near the coast. The actual city of Oviedo is about 9 miles away inland. As for where to go first, you will probably find cheaper fares to Madrid than to Barcelona, but it makes more sense to fly into Barcelona, then do Madrid, then Oviedo. You can get EasyJet or something from there to Lyon.
