Hi Folks. I am new to this forum. My wife and I are making our first trip to France in October. We are looking for recommendations for lodging in Rouen, Bayeux and Mont St Michel.

Bonjour Ed, We've never stayed in Rouen, only did a day trip and haven't been to Mont St Michel but the Hotel d'Argouges in Bayeux was lovely! Very comfortable, fantastic breakfast, lovely garden for drinks and hors d'oeuvres and the staff was delightful! The location was perfect tooacross the street from the open market.
PS: Four of us (2 Db) stayed there in May, 2009.

I agree with Darcy, we love Hotel D'Argouges in Bayeux. The owner and the staff are absolutely wonderful. It's like staying in a beautiful manor house.
