We will be in Paris is September and would like to take a day trip to Normandy, primarily to see the D-Day historical sites. I know it will be a long day. Prfer small group that provides transportation from Paris. However, taking the train to a meeting point is an option. Any help with recommendations would be most apprecialted. Thanks.

As you probably know, it's not the way most people here recommend to do it, but we do get a number of people here who feel they don't want to sleep out there to do one of the comprehensive tours.
