Hi--
Has anyone driven along the cheese or cider route in Normandy? If so, any recommendations on which route to take (the cider route has 4 circuits) or places to stop by and taste cider/cheese? Is it possible to drive both routes in 1 day if we rent a car from Caen?

You can certainly drive both in one day from Caen but it would be tedious at best. They're pretty much gimmicks generated by the local tourist boards to get you to spend more time in the area. Additionally, French cider is nothing to write home about.
A more interesting use of your time might be to hit a cider town (Cambremer?), then a cheese town (Camembert?), then swing through Falaise for something different on you way back to Caen.
