Has anyone had any experience with renting an audio tour of the Normandy D-Day beach area? We will have a car and wondered if an audio tour was a good option - something that lets you go at your own pace and skip anything you are not interested in. Any suggestions? Thanks

A guide book has over 200 pages covering 100s of sites that it would take weeks to visit. The audio guide has the advantage of taking you to essential places that you can visit in a day.
