Is it very difficult to drop off a rental car at the Nimes train station? We don't like to drive in congested areas. Thanks!

We have rented a car in Nimes. As I recall, there are 3 rental car companies in the train station. We rented from one of them. I believe it was Europecar. More are outside and nearby. There is a very large multi-story garage below the train station where our rental car was parked. The return appeared to also be in the garage. I'm sure that there are return areas for the other car companies as well nearby. As I recall, the traffic around the train station was not bad. We had our own GPS and was out of the area in no time at all heading for Pont du Gard.

A few years ago we returned a rental car to the Nimes train station, and it wasn't too difficult. We just followed the signs. Much easier than returning it in larger cities in France.
