Nightly Tyrol entertainment or other memorable traditional music

We are traveling through Munich, Salzburg, Mittenwald,
Appenzell, the Benese Oberland and the Rhine this summer. Can anyone suggest a restaurant they experienced wonderful local music, whether it be tyrol slap dancing or any local traditional music. I wonder if anyone knows of a restaurant with nightly entertainment. Seems like we are not in the villages the nights they have local music. This is something I hope to build into our trip and hope you can help.

The place I know is not in any of the locations you have listed, but nearby in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Fraundorfer has a guy singing and playing an accordion on most nights. They have slap dancing often, but not every night. I've also been to restaurants where Schlager music was on the bill, but that probably isn't what you had in mind. You also may want to check with the local churches. Sometimes they offer performances of traditional choral music- I attended one of these in Oberstdorf. While the Fraundorfer stuff is mostly just for foreign tourist consumption (not just American, I've met Aussies, Brits, Portugese, French, Japanese and Italians there), the choral stuff's target audience might to be more for the Germans on vacation in their own country.

Generally when we have had folk entertainment without having to look hard, it has been in larger hotels in the larger cities- Interlaken, Innsbruck etc Munich has rowdier music in the many beerhalls. getting louder as the evening wears on. have you tried Google?

Yep, the Gasthof Fraundorfer in Partenkirchen definitely has entertainment, we were there in October. They don't start until after 7p and you should call ahead for a table reservation. Also no where near where you want to go, but I know has local dancing and yodeling is in St. Veit im Pongau, Austria. Look up Siegi's Tours, as they usually can schedule it.
