It looks as if we may have to take the night train from Frankfurt to Prague in late November. It wii be a sleeper car. Has any one experience this trip? I heard some night trains can be a nightmare.

The night train from Frankfurt Süd (south) is a CityNightLine train, and those seem to be pretty nice trains. However, the train leaves Frankfurt around 1 AM and takes almost 10 hours. With a night train you do save the cost of a room, but I think a room in Prague could cost less than a sleeper on the train. There are day routes, an ICE to Nürnberg and the Bahn intercity bus from there to Prague in less than 6 hours.
