Night Train from Berlin to Amsterdam

How can you search specifically for night trains? I was considering taking a night train from Berlin to Amsterdam, but am still unsure about how this works (even after much reading). I am planning a trip for Spring 2014 for myself and my fiance. Both of us are under 25. We are going from Paris to Cologne, then to Munich, then Berlin, and flying home from Amsterdam. I have all transportation figured out except Berlin to Amsterdam. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

http://citynightline.ch If you can swing it splurge for the deluxe first class sleeper compartments. They have their own shower/toilet, table/chairs, lots of storage spaceand the beds are configured so that you can see the scenery go by while you are horizontal. Be aware that the night train from Amsterdam to Berlin is actually the Amsterdam to Prague night train with a stop in Berlin along the way. The arrival in Berlin is quite early at 4:30am so it may not be convenient. The daytime trains take six hours, so that might be a better choice.

Then maybe it would be easier to take a night train from Munich to Amsterdam?

You'll find night trains, as well as other trains, on the German Rail (Bahn) website. Most night trains leave their originating station after 7 PM (1900) so put in 1900. You might have to click later a few times to find a night train if it leaves a lot later. Look for CNL (City Night Line) under "products". The CNL train from Berlin to Amsterdam leaves Berlin after midnight (it's coming from Prague). The Munich to Amsterdam train leave Munich at a more reasonable 10:50. It also originates in Munich, so it will be at the platform for early boarding.
