I am taking a group of teens (ages 16-18) on a tour of Spain. We have a free day (a Sunday) in Madrid and I would like to take them to a relatively nice restaurant for a true dining experience...but they will be wearing jeans and putting their elbows on the table. I have about $50 budgeted per person. I am thinking lunch. Suggestions?
Casa Mingo
Actually, in Spain it is considered rude not to leave one's hands visible at all times during the meal. While elbows on the table may not be appropriate, the middle of the forearm of both arms should be left resting on the edge of the table. At that price point, you really won't find any restaurant where jeans will even raise an eyebrow.
Buen provecho!
