I stayed in a cookie cutter last time I was there. I need a clean room that isn't too Spartan for two adults and 1 child. I would like a bit of Vienna charm this time around. Any suggestions for a place near transit or in town?

My Uncle and Aunt stayed at Pension Mozart a few years ago and loved it. There are 14 rooms with either shower or bath.

Check out Pension Suzanne near the Opera House inside the Circle. It was reasonably priced and very highly rated when we stayed there several years ago, but I don't know how it compares now.

Hotel Kummer is on the Mariahilfer Strasse and basically on top of the Neubau stop on the U-3 (I think) line. Breakfast included.
